Shilpa Rao-Skirbekk
Organization: NIPH
Project: Black Carbon Project
Shilpa Rao is a senior scientist at the Department of Air Quality and Noise at the Norwegian Institute for Public Health. She specializes in using epidemiological methods to examine the effects of air quality and climate change on human health and assessing future health impacts. In this project, she is primarily involved in Output 4 and 5 on summarizing the effects of BC and particulate matter on health and understanding future impacts across different scenarios in the project.
Marit Låg
Marit Låg
Organization: NIPH
Project: Black Carbon Project
Senior Scientist at Department of Air Quality and Noise, Norwegian Institute of Public Health with extensive expertise on health effects of air pollution. The involvement in ChiNorBC have been in Output 4 and mainly in the activity 4.6. We have exposed advanced lung cell co-cultures with reference particles. The toxic and inflammatory responses are compared with responses using particles samples from China.
